Finally getting caught up!!!

Ok So If you don't already know I not only design stamps for Pink Papery Studio, I am also a member of their design team.

So due to drama in my life such as loosing my job moving holidays and vacation etc i hadnt ever got to post them. Now some i did do on time some i did later to catch up but im going to post them in the order that they were due since i dont recall exactly when i did which from the 1st challenge to the current.

This is the only person who made me cry the whole night (my hubby and my daddy caused me to tear up a little but I kept composed...but this guy here did me in) This is my Godfather Brian.
and this is one of my flower girls, i did have 2 but the other couldnt hang so was taken home early, this is my cousin Ashley. and She likes to move it move it!

Christmas 08

I love Christmas!!! I love decorating the tree and the music and the parties and spending time with friends and family

Here is my beautiful tree!!! its all peacock colors and themed accented with (of course) Disney!


My beautiful topper (well its actually 2. I have ariel on top and behind her I have a peacock clipped on to give her a more angelic look and to match with my peacock theme)


And this is my Tahnee. She was my parents cat (one of 2 indoor cats and one out door cat) well right about the time I moved into my new place (moved back to my home town closer to my family) Tahnee here got sick again. This was teh second time she had liver issues and she lost a lot of weight and could have gotten very sick. (my 2 childhood cats passed away from liver failure when they were 13 and 15) so we obviously got very concerned and keep a close eye on Tahnee now since shes gotten sick from it twice, but the vet gave us meds which helped both times. But back on track here...When i moved here it was after i lost my job and I havent had much luck finding a new one so my parents decided they would let me take her home with me so i could be sure she got her meds got extra attention and someone to keep an eye on her health ( not to mention it would be easier to put the other cat on a diet lol) So Tahnee has been living with us for a little while now and she is the sweetest funniest kitty and chrismas is also her favorite season she lovews laying in snuggly blankets and under the christmas tree. So here is my baby Tahnee (pronounced tawney)

Christmas Party 08

My Parents own their own business and every year they do a Christmas Party this year was the most fun and interesting. My dad found this murder mystery dinner tehater that is on an old train! So wee had a HUGE hummer strech Limo to take everyone down below (near Los Angeles) where we all boarded a train and as it departed from teh station we were visitied by different actors and actresses trying to learn their story and what the plot may be. The food was also very yummy!!!

Californias Freak Snow storm

Ok so I am waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy behind in my posts. one because my move two because the holidays and life and three i couldnt find my camera charger for a while ugh! anyways I am catching up FINALLY!

So in December we had a freak snow storm here in southern Cali. I mean I can probably count on one hand how many times we've had a good snow storm here in my life time. anyways it was beautiful!!!! it started snowing early in the morning and with as much as it had rained before it started to snow i thought no way is this going to stick and and hour two hours three hours later its still snowing and then it started to stick and then it was and inch and then two inches then 6 inches. It was an awesome day for me sitting at home getting ready for the holidays seeing this beautiful snow fall out every window. my cat even sat there and watched it most the day. My poor Hubby on the other hand didnt have it as nicely. he commutes to work on the train and because of the snow the freeways were shut down so all those commuters who drive were now forced to take the train if the wanted to get home that night and the train was packed solid!!! but the good news is he got to call out the next day and take a snow day due top freeway closures and train conditions! So we enjoyed a great day together building a snowman in our yard and just cuddling up on the couch with a big blanket watching a movie or two or three lol. anyways here are some pics from the 2 days of snow (by day 3 it was almost all gone lol)

My Awesome Bella Sistah!

I have teh greatest bella sistah evah! This was an amazing Dec. package she sent me!!! and I lov elov elove it!!! I couldnt wait to try the CTMH card kit and distressing set she sent!!! and I did lol the day i got it! and I LOVE IT!!! anyways I wanted to share with you all the great gift she sent. and once i know that she recieved hers ill have to post a pic of what i sent her!

Better late than never!

So I have been driving myself crazy with all that I have been trying to do these days.

Anyways Thanksgiving is the topic of this post. I love thanksgiving and Christmas its my favorite times of the year. I love the food and spending time with family and friends. This thanksgiving was great since my husband and I moved back to Lancaster closer to my family, and we love our new place so we wanted to show it off and host a Thanksgiving with our friends. On Thursday (thanksgiving day) we spent the day with my family and had a wonderful dinner. but for Saturday it was about us and our friends that we hadnt seen much of recently. I was so excited! I even sewed my own fabric napkins and table runners in beautiful cream and gold colors. I even made handmade napkin rings from scrapbooking paper and ribbon . Unfortunately I got so caught up in the excitement of having people over and cooking the perfect meal I forgot to take photos lol the only pictures I have are of my centerpieces and the table runners.

(I am in the works of designing a Website, but untile I can come up with a store name and finish the designing and setup this blog will have to do. but hopefully sometime in february i should get my site up and running and there wont be a need for this blog anymore)

Back online!

Wow I hate moving! it took so long to get everything packed, the moving day itself sucked!!!! we lived on a second floor so it took forever going up and down steps all day...and it was hot a all heck!!! so what we though would only take a few hourse took most the whole day! unload wasnt so bad we are now in a single story and were able to pull the truck in right next to the front door and we had extra hands for the unload and it only took an hour. and that whole week my husband took the car back and forth to commute to work and to bring the rest of the stuff that didnt fit in the truck and i am still here almost 4 weeks later and I am still unpacking boxes ughhh! it's getting there though. I am trying to organize everything, which is taking a long while! but its getting there slowly. I have an awesome craft room/computer room so i cant compain and i got to bring my cat over here from my parents house and i love having her company here when i am home by myself.

I did a fall craft fair the 8th of november which was a bust! i sold a few cards etc but not much. it cost me 30.00 for teh boot and i sold 36.00 in cards so 6.00 was above the cost of the booth but i wouldnt call it profit considering all i put into everything i showed at the craft fair...gas to and from etc....so i say im still in the hole. but good news is a lot of people took my card they were interested and that is better than uninterested. i think most peopel i spoke with had a hard time there. my guess is the economy, people arent buying more than they need now so they werent getting teh extra lavish things they may have been willing to purcahse a few years ago in the same situation. but i did get into 2 more upcoming holiday boutiques the first 2 weekends of december so cross your fingers and lets hope that they go better. I do still have a great stationery shop in valencia that is going to be carrying my cards on consignment! yay! now i just have to get more! theres a lovely little tea shop/boutique here in town i want to see if they will carry them, and i am going to hit up all the day spas and salons as well so wish me luck!

anyways so that is where i am at these days...now its time to get caught up! i have already been creating so look out over the next few days you are going to see tons and tons of pics posted!
